A special stereo
slide competition will be held at this year's NSA Convention in Irving, Texas.
Convention attendees will take stereo images, have the film
developed, and mount the images while at the convention. Up to four images from each person
will be submitted to the competition to be judged. All images will then be
presented in a final show on July 17, 2005 with awards being given for the top
scoring images.
The convention will provide film developing at a reasonable
rate. Attendees
will be required to provide that fee when submitting their film. A pick up and
drop off point will be setup at the convention facility. Twice a day, once in
the morning and once in the afternoon, the film will be taken to the developer.
At that time the film from the previous pick up will be returned. Attendees can
pick up their film at that time. There will not be any limit to the amount of
film submitted, unless imposed by the developing lab.
A room will be provided with equipment and supplies for
mounting,
graciously donated by 3DConcepts. This room will also be staffed by volunteers
to help with mounting. A schedule of open hours and staffing will be posted at
the film drop-off table and at the room door.
